One of the most exciting options within the assembly is Pelco's Custom Profile Pole, engineered specifically for the Slip Top Base. It has been tested to 10,000 lbs pull with no deformation, and its strength has been verified to be comparable to a threaded Schedule 40 pole. That means no compromise on strength: it delivers the same structural performance customers expect from a Schedule 40 threaded pole, with improved reliability under load, while using lighter-weight construction than a traditional pole. That lighter weight means easier handling and installation in the field. The Custom Profile Pole also features an external indicator for bolt-through mounting every 90 degrees, making it simple to position hardware accurately during installation.

The PB-5115 is a coupling kit that joins two predrilled pole halves into a single 4" pedestrian pole assembly, with overall heights ranging from 8 to 14 feet. Rather than shipping a full-length pole as oversized freight, the two halves travel separately and connect on-site using six set screws and a single tool. The coupler is designed for common SCH 40 ped pole wall thickness, accommodates internal wiring from both directions, and works with both threaded and slip-top bases. What makes it genuinely different from a standard coupling solution is the structural performance: the junction at the coupler exceeds the strength of a typical base-to-pole connection, so the mid-pole joint is never the weak point in the assembly.

Our TB2N1 was included in a complete assembly (a 25-foot luminaire pole with a 10-foot arm and transformer base) that passed all three levels of MASH testing.
